Ritual tattooing is an intentional approach to marking the body, where the process is held with presence, care, and conscious choice. It honours the understanding that images carry meaning and energy, and invites a deeper level of awareness around what is permanently placed on the skin.

 

Rather than approaching tattooing as decoration alone, this work treats the act of marking as a moment in time — a threshold. A point of choosing, where something is acknowledged, integrated, or released.

 

Ritual tattooing as a ceremony, is space to connect and commit deeper to yourself or as a couple, creating space and a point on your path for intention, remembering, meeting, committing and creating an intentional conscious threshold.

 

My desired style to work with is combining pattern work with symbols or subtle suggestive shapes in an ornamental style adding imagery that hold meaning and energy.

Another option is to have a sacred marking channelled ~ A sacred marking is an image of an energy which is obtained by connecting to your energy and spirit. An energy is channeled, unique to you which has the purpose of connecting you with your truest self and soul purpose. It will assist in gently stripping away anything that isn’t for your highest good.

How It Works

Each session begins by creating space to arrive and settle into the body. Through conversation, presence, and gentle guidance, we clarify intention — not as something forced or constructed, but as something that naturally becomes clear when there is time to listen.

 

From this space, the design is either intuitively developed or consciously chosen, with attention to the meaning and quality it carries for you. The tattooing itself is approached slowly and with care, allowing you to remain connected to your body and the experience as it unfolds.

 

Each ritual is personalised and guided by what is present for you. Breath, sound, gentle movement, and embodied awareness may be woven into the session where supportive, creating a space that is responsive, intuitive, and grounded in the body.
